Meet Our Team

Laurie Ganem, RDH

Laurie is our Senior Registered Dental Hygienist and has been with our practice for 20 years. She is a 1993 graduate of the University of Bridgeport, Fones School of Dental Hygiene with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science. To maintain her level excellence, Laurie has taken many continuing education courses, including a week-long seminar at the L.D. Pankey Institute in Florida and is certified in CPR/BLS training. Laurie also assists in training new hygienists in our practice and is proficient in scheduling for the hygiene department. She continues to expand her skills by learning and implementing new techniques to provide the best quality dental care to her patients.

Arleta Sadil, RDH

Arleta is our part-time Registered Dental Hygienist and Certified Dental Assistant. She obtained her certification after graduation from Prince Technical-Vocational School in Hartford and joined our team in 1999. After nine years as a Dental Assistant, she obtained her Associate in Science Degree from Tunxis Community College in 1998. Since then, she enjoys serving our patients as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Arleta continues to further her knowledge by taking continuing education courses and maintaining CPR/BLS training. Arleta is also bilingual and has been a great addition by helping our Polish speaking patients.

Raisa Bensonoff, RDA

Raisa is our Registered Dental Assistant. She joined our practice in June of 2003 and has been with us for over 10 years. Raisa is a 1998 graduate of Prince Technical-Vocational School in Hartford. She maintains her certification in CPR/BLS and maintains her education by attending CE courses each year. Raisa is bilingual and can speak fluent Russian and some Polish. She is a great asset to our Russian and Polish speaking patients.

Susan Couture, Office Manager

Susan is our Office Manager with over 35 years of office experience and joined our practice in 2006. Susan is the first person you’ll speak to when calling our office and when entering our practice. She handles all aspects of everyday operations of the business, including scheduling, insurance verification and processing, pre-treatment estimates, claims, billing, monthly reports, payroll, and is CPR certified. She is proficient in dealing with insurance companies and making sure our patients are able to maximize their insurance benefits to ensure a treatment plan is affordable. She also has extensive computer knowledge to keep our office technology up-to-date. Susan’s interpersonal skills in dealing with our patients makes for a welcoming, friendly and comfortable environment which puts our patients at ease during their visit.
